Every artist has a particular style when it comes to designing their logos. In this tutorial, I will provide a YouTube Video Tutorial showing you how I designed a logo using Adobe Illustrator. I made this tutorial for those who are wanting to learn more about Adobe Illustrator. Maybe you’ve never used it before or maybe you are currently using another system to design your logos. Either way, I will explain why I feel Adobe illustrator is the winner when it comes to logos, how to make a logo and why it’s the best for logos.
To use Adobe Illustrator, you must have it downloaded on your computer. As of now, Adobe offers a 7-day free trial. After, for Adobe Cloud, the cost would be $20.99 a month. They do offer student discounts if you can prove you are a student by having a student email, showing your transcripts, etc.
With Adobe Illustrator, as you will see in my video tutorial, you are able to use fonts then create an outline so that it can convert to a vector format. You can also draw your own wording by using the Paintbrush Tool (B), Blob Brush Tool (Shift + B), Pen Tool (P) or Curvature Tool ( Shift + ‘)
There are a few ways you can draw an illustration on Adobe Illustrator for your logo. Take a look at my YouTube video below to learn how to I draw an Illustration from a drawing I sketched.
